Venue: 03. The Bateman Hall, adjoining Christ Church, The Triangle, Belper, DE56 1BA

I have drawn and painted since childhood, even on newly decorated walls!
My main subject at teacher training college was art and crafts, but, being in the mid sixties we learnt all about shape, form and texture and little about techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed my teaching at primary level, particularly when working within the art/craft spectrum.
On taking early retirement I received some excellent tuition before branching out on my own. I love working in watercolour but I am not afraid to experiment with other media and techniques . As my paintings show, curved, sinuous lines somehow find their way in to the designs, no matter how hard I try to avoid them.
